Nicholas Adams-Cohen

Data Scientist at Adobe

Profile

Hello! I am currently a Staff Data Scientist at Adobe. In my role, I use machine learning to personalize experiences and causal inference to measure the impact of programs and features for Adobe's suite of B2B software.

Before Adobe, I was an AI Research Scientist at Accenture and a Data Scientist at Stanford's Immigration Policy Lab. I also contributed to the Caltech/MIT Voter Technology Project.

I earned a Ph.D. in Social Science from Caltech in 2019, specializing in novel quantitative methods for political science.

My research delves into voter behavior, public opinion, and their intersection with politicians and media. I use social media data, NLP, and econometrics to explore reactions to events like LGBT+ rights and the #metoo movement.

At the Immigration Policy Lab, I helped devise machine learning solutions to optimize refugee placement, enhancing economic outcomes.

I co-authored the book “Securing Elections” published by Cambridge University Press in 2020.
